Anti-oppression training provided to YUGSA Councillors and members refer to theories and actions that challenge social and historical inequalities and injustices that are systemic to our systems and institutions (e.g. racism, Islamophobia, misogyny, homophobia, etc.). At least one Councillor from every department must attend anti-oppression training.
