The Grad Lounge is a fully licensed lounge and restaurant owned and run by the GSA. That's right! It's the Lounge on campus dedicated to Grad students! The Grad Lounge is located at 166 South Ross.

Given that big business has recently started buying up other bars on campus, an independently owned and operated lounge is now more important than ever. This is the place on campus for grad students to eat, drink, and socialize.

Menu items are made fresh to order, unless of course, you're in a rush, in which case there are also sandwiches, wraps, and burritos already made for you to take away. Muffins and cookies are baked fresh daily and available at just about the best price on campus. The Grad Lounge is also one of the few places on campus where you can get Fair Trade coffee at a good price (in a biodegradable cup if you're on the go, unless of course you bring your own cup).

Mike and his team of friendly staff are there ready to pour you a drink, get you some good eats, and help you unwind in a relaxed grad-friendly atmosphere.

Graduate student groups wishing to host a special event please contact Mike at gsaloung@yorku.ca at least 15 days in advance of the event. Please note that due to staffing constraints we are only able to host graduate student events at this time.
