Future of York Graduate Housing and Current Tenant Experience Survey

The graduate students who live in York Apartments have been experiencing a growing number of issues and have reached out to us with complaints regarding their living conditions.

YUGSA has been in discussions with the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) and York Housing since last year to pursue their resolution. We are aware that one of the main reasons behind most of the issues is that buildings are aged and troubled. We have prepared a survey to understand what issues people have faced or are still facing over the course of their tenancy and know their opinions on the necessity of renovation or adding and constructing new buildings.

YUGSA believes that the results of this survey will also help guide the conversation with York Apartments over upcoming meetings.
