Aamjiwnaang and Sarnia Against Pipelines (ASAP)

ASAP is a small grassroots collective of Anishinaabe land defenders that asserts Indigenous Rights and Sovereignty, using both non-violent direct action and education to raise awareness about environmental injustice. They organize the annual Aamjiwnaang Water Gathering and Toxic Tour. Learn more.

Nimkii Aazh’bikoong: Culture Camp Forever

Nimkii Aazh’bikoong is an Indigenous resurgence camp to empower Indigenous youth to follow the traditional governance system and break models that the Indian Act has imposed. Participants learn skills like tanning moose-hides, building birchbark canoes, Indigenous gardening, traditional arts, smoking wild meats, Anishinaabemowin and how to live off the land in a sustainable way led by camp Elders. Learn more.
